All the characters have such interesting dynamics and are all trying to do what feels right to them. And sometimes, unfortunately, just as in real life, these ideas don’t always line up. I noticed that there was a separate community on here for TKB but it hasn’t been updated in a few years so let’s make a new one. Here we can all express are love and support for Ingrid and the incredible comic she has made.the kiss bet r/The It’s senior year and Sara Lin just turned 18. She’s got great friends, a cool Dad (or so he thinks) and a whole lot ahead of her. The last thing she needs is to worry about having her first kiss. But that’s all about to change because her good pal Patrick just challenged her to a bet that will either lead to love, heartbreak or embarrassment.or maybe all three.

The Kiss Bet is a sweet romance that is remarkably well-written that shows a realistic depiction of teenagers and their relationship dynamics. I’d watch a live adaptation if they made one (as long as they cast high-school-looking characters).

The Kiss Bet has been very predictable so far just like most romance stories and the creator has not shied away from showing genuine chemistry between the aforementioned pairs even when these characters were individually exploring relationships with other people. 🥲The Kiss Bet, Midnight Poppyland, Lore Olympus, Let's Play. these are all comics that really lost the plot around their 2nd season and have since been writing on fumes. And most of those fumes are from them just overcooking the shit out of the same tropes and cliches that we've already seen done to death 12894810 times before.

Edit- I finished reading upto the recent episodes of Swimming Lessons for A Mermaid, Nice to Meet You and Not So Shoujo Love Story!r/The 100000% agreed i also really enjoyed kiss bet until the end of season 2 because i love slow burn but the constant back and forth is just too much and i wasnt too crazy about her dating patrick for a bit and then joe and the weirdness with her pushing him together with vicky who was not initially interested in him also found the part of patrick .
